When you visit this website
This website is hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS) and delivered through Amazon CloudFront. When you open a page, your browser sends the technical data every website needs: your IP address, the date and time, the page you asked for, your browser type and the page you came from. We use this data only to deliver the pages and keep the website safe, and the server logs are kept only for a short time. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a safe, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
AWS may process data in the USA. Amazon is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission recognises as giving an adequate level of protection.
No cookies, no tracking
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking tools. Fonts and pictures are loaded from our own website server, not from other companies.
When you send a request
When you ask for a quote, we collect what you enter in the form: your name, phone number, email address, the addresses and dates of the move or clear-out, details such as floors and lift, your message and any photos you add. We use this data only to answer your request and prepare an offer (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Your request is stored on our website server and sent to us by email through Amazon Simple Email Service (Amazon SES). Photos are stored privately: only we can open them, through links that expire.
To protect the form from spam, we also store your browser type and a scrambled code made from your IP address. The code cannot be turned back into your IP address.
We keep your request as long as we need it to answer you. If you book with us, we keep what tax and commercial law require us to keep, for as long as they require it.
Address suggestions
When you type an address in the form, we suggest matching addresses. The text you type is sent through our server to Google Maps Platform (Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC). Google does not receive your IP address from us. Google may process data in the USA and is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in correct addresses and an easy form (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Who runs the website for us
This website, its forms and the storage of requests are provided by MoveCRM on our behalf. MoveCRM uses the data only to run these services for us.
The WhatsApp button is a plain link: nothing is loaded from WhatsApp until you click it. If you click it, WhatsApp opens and WhatsApp Ireland Limited (Meta) processes your data under its own privacy policy. Use it only if you agree to that; you can always call or email us instead.
Email and phone
If you email or call us, we use your details only to answer you and, if you book, to carry out the job (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Your rights
You can ask what data we hold about you, and have it corrected, deleted or restricted. You can object to its use and ask for your data in a common format (Art. 15–21 GDPR). Just email move@platzmacher-nbg.de.
You can also complain to a data protection authority. For us, that is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA) in Ansbach.
